One operations room now sees cameras, radios, and dispatch together — a working Safe Country layer, not a pile of separate camera and radio contracts.

Guyana’s public-safety programme needed a fused operations room, city and site cameras with operator workflow, and mission-critical radio that still works when commercial mobile networks are busy. We supplied and installed the Huawei stack as one programme: video wall, consoles, intelligent video, and trunked radio (eLTE — dedicated public-safety broadband, not office Wi-Fi).

Equipment lists were locked against the racks that went live. Spare kits and operator training sat on the critical path. Sessions used real incident workflows so the emergency centre could open with people who already knew the consoles.

Smart Education with Huawei IdeaHub

Schools received campus Wi-Fi plus Huawei IdeaHub boards so teachers can present, annotate, share from a laptop, and run video lessons from one screen.

Ministries of education in Barbados, Grenada, and Trinidad & Tobago needed more than laptops on desks. We delivered Huawei Smart Education kits: school Wi-Fi that survives a full classroom, switching, and Huawei IdeaHub — a large interactive collaboration display for teaching, wireless sharing, and video.

Each campus type had a locked kit so a new school does not reopen the original design. Commissioning followed term calendars. Ministry ICT officers and school technicians were trained to add sites in year two.

Community networks and civic ICT

Town and community sites in Grenada got reliable backhaul and public ICT so schools, clinics, and civic spaces sit on the same dependable network.

Grenada’s work mixed operator backhaul with community and government sites. Spice Mobile’s access-layer upgrades were treated as an uptime programme. School and civic sites were specified so they could ride the island’s operator and government links instead of becoming a parallel island of equipment.

The Barbados hub handled Caribbean logistics. Local partners commissioned sites with kits that matched the design, then had a parts path after go-live.

Trinidad & Tobago

TSTT network distribution

Carrier aggregation, outdoor cabinets, and data-centre distribution for TSTT — configuration checked before gear left the hub, sites turned up without taking the core offline.

Telecommunications Services of Trinidad and Tobago needed Huawei DataCom: aggregation, fibre access, campus and data-centre switching, and a spare-parts channel operations can call. This is carrier work, not a home Wi-Fi install.

We staged acceptance so the core stayed up. Optics and parts lists matched the outdoor cabinets and racks. Promotech and other regional partners were enabled with the same authorised kits.

Hospitals need the same discipline as a campus or carrier site: Wi-Fi that works on a ward, secure links between clinics, and a backbone that imaging and records can trust. Huawei DataCom — campus switching, WLAN, and WAN — is the layer we specify for clinical campuses.

We treat healthcare like any other critical network: segmented traffic, spare parts on site, and a design hospital IT can operate after we leave. No experimental kit. No unexplained jargon on the handover.

Government and finance campus networks

Ministry and bank campuses get the same Huawei DataCom model: segmented Wi-Fi, reliable building links, and a network operations can hand over.

Government compounds and financial campuses need isolation between public counters, staff, and back-office systems. We use Huawei campus switching and WAN so a ministry block or a bank HQ is not a flat, shared network.

Panama City is the commercial counterpart for Central America and LATAM programmes of this type. Hong Kong locks the equipment list before shipment. Local partners commission and then own day-two support.
